Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Visualization Specialist to design, develop, and optimize impactful dashboards, reports, and analytical visual stories. The role involves translating complex datasets into intuitive visual outputs, engaging with senior stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in visualization standards, and ensuring high quality across delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in analytics, visualization tools, and data storytelling, combined with solid experience in project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Must Have Skills (Mandatory)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data visualization and analytics
- Expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Cloud preferred), Tableau, RStudio Connect, or similar BI platforms
- Strong command of SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and visualization
- Proven ability to design interactive dashboards and visual stories that communicate insights clearly
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, data storytelling, and UX for analytics
- Experience presenting dashboards and insights to senior leadership and business stakeholders
- Solid grasp of statistical concepts and working knowledge of machine learning basics
- Experience with quality assurance, accuracy checks, and optimization of BI solutions
- Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices
- Strong experience with documentation and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in French and English
Good to Have Skills (Optional)
- Experience with D3.js or custom visualization frameworks
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Exposure to Big Data tools and cloud analytics ecosystems
- Experience building custom visuals, data collection forms, or lightweight web applications
- Understanding of industry trends, including Clusters at external environments such as that of other clients
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree (Master 2) in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Design, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data visualization with a proven record of leading visualization projects
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and a strategic approach to solution delivery
- High level of integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
