Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Airline PSS Support Specialist to provide technical support and operational assistance for our Passenger Service System (PSS). The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the PSS, working closely with various airline departments to optimize its usage. This role involves troubleshooting, user training, system maintenance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet operational and business needs.
Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory)
- Airline Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with airline industry standards and best practices.
- Technical Expertise: Experience in providing troubleshooting and technical support for PSS systems.
- System Maintenance: Knowledge of system performance monitoring, updates, and handling upgrades for PSS systems.
- User Training: Ability to conduct training sessions for airline staff and create user documentation and materials.
- Data Management: Experience in monitoring data integrity, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (operations, revenue management, customer service) to optimize system usage.
Good to Have Skillsets (Optional)
- Vendor Coordination: Experience working closely with vendors to ensure optimal system performance.
- PSS Testing & Enhancements: Experience participating in system testing and providing feedback on system enhancements.
- Previous Airline or PSS Experience: Prior work experience in airline operations or PSS support is a plus.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in PSS support or related airline operations is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
