Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Big Data Automation Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of big data applications.
He / She will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for big data applications for our Client. This role involves working closely with data engineers, developers, and QA teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and ensure the accuracy and performance of big data solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience Level : 5-8 years
Education Level: MCA / B.Tech Comp. Sc / B.E Comp. Sc / Equivalent degree
Skill Set Required:
- Automated testing using tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Hive)
- Database testing (Oracle, Redshift, Hadoop)
- Advanced SQL skills
- Must have Experience with big data platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate test strategies for applications within the big data platform.
- Create and upkeep automated test scripts using established tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Hive, or equivalents).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate test cases.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to pinpoint defects and areas for enhancement.
- Engage in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Provide comprehensive test execution reports to project stakeholders.
Other Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in the airline domain.
- Exhibit proficiency in database testing, such as Oracle, Redshift & Hadoop.
- Experience in testing bulk data with advanced SQLs,
- Showcase strong analytical abilities to comprehend intricate systems and effectively troubleshoot issues.
